on top if previous comment, the 600 pen is just same like any other pen. press click to push the pen out and click again to push the pen back in. in the other hand, the 800 is twist and retract the pen in & out. all both are nice quality. but for design & style, 800 is much better. //@Anonymous: If you never own a rotring before, its well made. Quality pen. But for its just a pen. Same with its mechanical pencil. Nothing more. I owned all the Rotring generation since the 80s for technical drawings. From isographs, rapidographs to variants. They are really good. Their steel tips are way better than Staedtler or Koh-i-noor. You can even get tungsten tip for more durability. But their pen & pencil are just regular pen & pencil. Nothing special. Just my honest opinions.
