But again if I can use my credit card to buy anything then why should I buy the gift card and then use the gift card to buy the stuff that I want //@anonymous: Think it might depend on company policy if you can or cannot buy gift card with a credit card. Amazon definitely allows you to get gift card with your credit card. I don't know what Staples' policy is, so check it and then decide. It is not often you get to save on activation fee for a gift card.

Ya no you are wrong. You have to use a debit charge to purchase these //@Anonymous: Wrong-o! //@Anonymous: Good ideal but i recall seeing that not being on the list of accepted uses

You cant buy giftcards with credit cards //@anonymous: suppose you have qualified for a new credit card that offers to pay you $200 if you spend $1000 or more in the first 3 months or so.
