The bad reviews are most for the hinge defects. This issue certainly applies to the stealth silver version (the original design). Later on Samsung release a newer casing with color code of light titan a arguably worse/outdated edge design, which was supposed to fix the issue. Amazon was selling the updated version exclusively and that's why Amazon's review was 4.5 star.

Unfortunately, the $180 one posted here is the original version and at this point it is not clear whether the hinge issue is addressed. The $152 deal posted here a few days back is for the updated version though. //@anonymous: Wow those some poor reviews
