In Bay Area network is fine as I have T mobile and don’t see any issues //@anonymous: MINT uses t-mobile network and they don't have strong coverage in California. I tried them, not even close to Cricket (AT&T).

You can buy the deal of Total Wireless for 99 cents and then switch back to Mint as a new customer.
