Bose is a technology company, which is in a consistently changing field, not an antique company. To be up to the trend, latest CD player needs to be Wifi / Blue Tooth enabled, and be Google/Alexa Smart. If this can support playing of lossless music file format, and read such files from a DVD, it will still have another 10-years of good life left in it!

Regardless buzz ,this sound quality is really good ,for people with nice collection of classic and nice music album,this is real good

Tried and true stuff never becomes obsolete. Too many engineers trying to "make a difference" messed up good things, like the dash layout of new cars. Think "who moved the salt and pepper".
