Question: why didn't the seat belt save me?
Answer: Did u hear it clicked? //@anonymous: Ms. Merkel seems to fully trust this product, having worn this particular mask in several public occasions last year. (Don’t trust what I say. Just google for photos..) //@anonymous: These masks are not FDA certified or NIOSH approved. They are for general uses. Not medical. KN95 is a low Chinese standard that is rejected at US hospitals. You are better off wearing 2 layers of general purpose masks at much lower prices.

Can't we make masks in the US at least now? So annoying to see this dependency on China for basic things even after a year of Covid.

By anonymous on 02/08/2021, 06:19 PM EST
The FDA never approved those masks because they haven’t gotten around the approval process yet.

The bottom line is this, claiming this mask is no better than general use is false. Claiming KN95 is substandard to N95 is also false. If anything, KN95 is more stringent than N95.

Of course, counterfeit or no name manufacturer selling on shady websites might sell masks that don’t actually meet neither KN95 or N95 standards, but that doesn’t appear to be the case with these Powercom ones. Quite frankly the only reason might not eventually be NIOSH approved is because of the ear loop design. To the best of my knowledge, no ear loop design (KN95 or N95) have been approved for medical use. //@anonymous: This is just a test with results, FDA never approved these masks //@anonymous: Uh, like much? Which general use masks you know have 98.96% filter efficiency as rated by the FDA?

I bought these, biggest issue is they are not waterproof at all. Many cheap regular masks are waterproof

Why did CA government order N95 masks from BYD instead of these KN95s? //@anonymous: you should do your own research. some people here does not know what they are saying. //@Anonymous: These masks are not FDA certified or NIOSH approved. Oh please. For $1 each, these are worth it. A hospital or surgical center wouldn’t be buying discount masks on Dealsea anyway. i like darwin //@Anonymous: Please google "asymptomatic covid-19 patients" //@anonymous: that's why the post said "make sure you are healthy" and you are not spreading virus, why is that selfish? I would definitely prefer a mask with valve knowing I am healthy. //@anonymous: Those masks with valve are selfish, they protect you but put others in danger //@anonymous: It's hard to breathe with these masks. Get the ones with valves, make sure you're healthy, wear masks with valves and breathe.

Who cares you have vaccinated or not, the masks rules still apply to you for the public health

Vaccine cannot protect you 100% effectively. Wearing a mask can give you an extra layer of protection. There are a lot of people care. //@anonymous: Who cares, I already received 2 dose of vaccine //@anonymous: It's almost impossible to "make sure you are healthy" because many are infected without any symptoms, therefore they think they are healthy but in fact not and are giving the virus to others without knowing. //@anonymous: that's why the post said "make sure you are healthy" and you are not spreading virus, why is that selfish?
