Free weights cost a little more (unless you're patient and snag good deals off Craigslist) but they last forever. These "home gym systems" are a PAIN to put together and a bigger pain to take apart, and they are INFLEXIBLE about the exercises you can do with them. Get a bench, a squat rack, a barbell, and some weights, and you'll be so happy you did.

Get what you pay for. Had a similar set up I got free pre-Covid. I lift heavy and it was extra wobbly within a year. It's not a long term solution. I tossed it and kept the stack. Since bought free weights from Dicks, HULK cage amazon and bench from walmart. Much happier now. Spent $700. Yes its more but cheaper than buying it. Deciding its not want you want and then spending $700. ANything weights is hard to find and expensive right now. There is a reason these are available

I have almost exactly this model, the only difference is the color of the bench, and mine did not have the preacher curl attachment. I got it for 250 from Kohls with 50 in Kohls Cash back.
I honestly don't use it very often. I find that it is wobbly, and the small number of weight plates makes gradual improvement difficult, right now I find that 3 plates is a little light, and 4 plates is uncomfortably heavy for chest.
I did figure out how to do a row with it, you have to sit on the floor and pull from the attachment where you would put a curl bar.
If you use a curl bar and don't step on the front of the machine (standing, not sitting) then the machine comes off the floor with more than 2 plates. No problem, just stand on the plate, but the weight is coming from right at your feet. Again, the preacher curl attachment will give you another bicep option.
I did buy a triceps rope on amazon for $18 which you can actually do sitting down, it works pretty well.
Overall, you get what you pay for. I also prefer free weights, and have a few (15 to 25 lbs) but I can use this for chest/back/triceps in a pinch, slightly better than pushups and body weight exercises. //@RoshDrozzley: Agreed, but free weights are so expensive. Those concrete ones are cheaper but they take up a lot of space //@anonymous: These things seem great at this price, but once you use them for a bit, you'll wish you had free weights instead. There is a reason these are free on Craigslist all the time.

can you clarify a bit more? I assume it's because of the quality of this machine, not exercise machines in general. //@Anonymous: These things seem great at this price, but once you use them for a bit, you'll wish you had free weights instead.
