Yes. 3p toners are fine. But the quality of aftermarket toners have been not very consistent to me. //@anonymous: Can it use third party toners after firmware update? But after I updated the firmware, it has been working flawlessly ever since. for $200, a color printer with two side printing and scanner (one side scan only) and document feeder, really can't complain.

I have this printer for a year and I want to throw it away. have a lot of trouble trying to print. it is the worst printer I ever have. stay away from Canon printers

Like other commenters have said, consistently disconnects and sleeps. Super annoying. Also, you can either have wireless on or wired. Both won't work together. You have to disconnect one for the other one to work.

Have had it for a year now. Consistently disconnects. Basically the AirPrint feature works less than half the time.

Be aware the drivers for this are garbage. It constantly disconnects from your devices and you have to remove and reinstall to get it to print from the main tray again. Works fine as a wired printer though...

Great color laser printer. Generic toner cartridges are affordable on Ebay too.
