I have both and use both. Functionally the Le Creuse is enameled so it offers slightly better non-stick surface, but not too much different. It's the name that you buy. Le Creuse does have life time warranty and you could replace if it cracks. //@Anonymous: how Is comparing with the Lodgie?

You can get to the same polish and seasoning with even the cheapest skillet, it takes some time but can be done.
