I've owned the KGBT for 8+ years with zero issues and love it. Not only does it make a full pot in 7 minutes flat, but it brews at the perfect temperature. The units are made in the Netherlands and you can buy replacement parts if you ever had an issue. The reason I went for the KGBT, is because a hot plate can burn or change the flavor of the coffee. Yes it seems expensive, but its worth it if you want to start your day off right. //@Anonymous: But these are all still just drip coffee, right? What is the advantage of these over a $30 coffee pot?
