yes, I used their gift card to buy Nintendo Switch last month. The gift card was purchase from last year. which mean you can save 10%. If you want to save more, use Discover card or Chase Freedom card to buy their gift card, both of them has 5% reward until end of this month. //@Anonymous: Anyone tried? Bought $200 GC and stored the GC in my target account last year. The money disappeared in 1 month before I had chance to use it. Called target and complained the target account security issue. Never get the money back and target never admitted their fault.

Will not use them again and buy any target gift card from them. Use the GC immediately if you do buy the GC!

It works. U need the target app. Save the coupon in the app and when you are ready to check out you have to click your wallet in the app to show a unique barcode that the cashier will scan. Its a one-time use per account only. Meaning you if you buy 1 ten dollar gift card, you are done. If you buy 10 $50 gift cards you are done.

You buy gift card first, then you can buy anything you like! Discount show on your account.
