Totally agreed. //@anonymous: samsung sucks , the fridge would freeze over and i would have to take the panel off every 6 months to defrost and put back on, you tube it...very common, manufacturing defect. I would not buy another samsung fridge ever again, I had a ge profile that lastest 15yrs and was still good just needed something bigger, I tell people samsung looks good but buy the TVs not the fridges.

People drive german car even though less reliable.

This is very true. My 6 year old LG’s compressor just died for no reason. Glad I have home warranty or would be very upset. If I can get new one, will go for GE or Whirlpool. //@anonymous: My old house has a Kenmore by Whirpool, and it nedded to replace a relay, other than that, it is still running fine after 20 years. I have a Samsung one, which just sucks, and the problems is very very common. It is not completely died yet, just hope it dies sooner. LG provides 10 year compressor warranty because only LG has compressor quality issue. I never heard compressor failure except LG. My next refrigerator would be a Whirpool or GE. No more Samsung or LG garbage. //@Anonymous: Samsung and LG look nice and modern but have lots of quality issues...go with whirlpool which have much lower repair rate...

I have a whirlpool and it has been 6 years without any issues

Why do you need so much technology for a Fridge ? It should just chill and freeze.. nothing more.

That's what I thought. All other brands have many similar problems. I believe all current refrigirators are not equal qualities than decades ago. //@Anonymous: The refrigerators are very sophisticated and easy to break down nowadays. Buy a refrigerator with longest warranty possible.

LG, no thank you, problem after problem

Own a five years old Samsung, the defrosting system has problems constantly. Heard LG pretty much the same.

I have a LG. The ice distributor is badly designed.

Agree. Got a Samsung fridge in 2017 and the ice dispenser keeps breaking down, it also makes loud noise //@Anonymous: Samsung and LG look nice and modern but have lots of quality issues...go with whirlpool which have much lower repair rate...

I think LG now provide 10 year compressor warranty including labor. //@Anonymous: Linear compressors for LG fridge are very easy to breakdown. The one on my new LG fridge failed after four years. It is very expensive and time consuming to fix it. The tech told me it is a very common problem.

Refrigerator - Trust GE, best in class, Dishwasher - trust Bosch, best in class
