M.2 is just form factor, it doesn't say anything about the performance. The performance could be the same as a regular SSD or faster depending on type of drive. However, this is QVO. The Amazon link provided is EVO. That's compare apple to orange. QVO's TBW is only half of EVO. QVO is slower too.
