SATA 3.0 is able to handle 6Gbps which is 750MB/s. It will make no difference if the physical speed of the drive itself doesn't exceed this limit. If you want to boost the physical speed of the drive, you need NVMe. //@Anonymous: Only if the M2 format uses PCI Express it's 5x faster. If it uses the SATA connection, speeds would be the same. //@anonymous: Sequential read and write performance levels of up to 550MB/s and 520MB/s.

The M.2 is much faster in read and write speed. roughly 5-6x. //@Anonymous: Is m.2 better? Or just the same?

M.2 is just form factor, it doesn't say anything about the performance. The performance could be the same as a regular SSD or faster depending on type of drive. If you see 2 slots on the module (B and G ), the performance is the same as regular SSD. //@Anonymous: Sequential read and write performance levels of up to 550MB/s and 520MB/s.

Amazon Link updated. Thanks //@Anonymous: it is still valid.
However, this is QVO. The Amazon link provided is EVO. That's compare apple to orange. QVO's TBW is only half of EVO. QVO is slower too.
