Same here. I never throw them away. I refill the lead. //@Anonymous: There is no problem with using plastic pencils. Mechanical pencils are reusable using pencil lead. I used my mechanical pencil for 5 years. //@Anonymous: Please don’t use plastic pencils, instead use wooden pencils. It’s just matter of sharpening
