The dumbbells are bulkier but do not restrict wrist movement when using them. I had a friend use my bowflex adjustable and he instantly preferred mine over his roommates' power blocks. //@Anonymous: Can anyone compare with the Bowflex dumbbells that are occasionally listed on dealsea?

This dumbbell thing is just weight, mostly pure material, no high-tech or whatever involved, why it's so expensive? A couple tens of bucks should be enough.

I have the bow flex 552
and a close friend has these, I tried the power blocks and found them to be similar in feel, but the bow flex seems to me to be more balanced, on the other hand you can buy expansion pieces for these that will take it to 90lbs each, but with bow flex you will have to buy a complete new set the 1080s to get 90lbs, so in the long run it will cost more. //@anonymous: Can anyone compare with the Bowflex dumbbells that are occasionally listed on dealsea?
