Exactly. Battery deteriorates quickly after 2-3 years of use, and then the whole thing becomes trash. Check ifixit if you dare to replace it. It is almost irreplaceable if you don't want to risk breaking your screen. I have my battery-dead Surface hooked up with a monitor and use it as a desktop. At least it still turns on lol... //@Anonymous: Yeah, battery is the only complaint. Overall, it is a great laptop. I like it. //@Anonymous: battery sucks.

terrible quality. M$FT built a good brand name in Surface but has been milking it too hard. The fundamental problem is that the parts are all soldered on hence nothing can be replaced easily. That's fine if quality parts are used like in iPad, but no M$FT used cheap parts. Once that $50 SSD or RAM dies, the entire thing goes.
