APC UPS batteries have been going downhills for the past few years. A new battery rarely last more than 2 years before they start to randomly power off, beep, and leak fluids. We run an IT consulting company, and we have switched over to Tripp Lite and CyberPower a long time ago. APC thought they became a name brand and started cutting corners. I would not use them right now even if they were free!
