After I get thunderbolt to DS1.2 cable, I was able to run 75hz and get full 2560x1660 resolution on new macbook air.
So the key is 1. PC has capable graphic card 2. right adopter/cable to carry data to monitor.

got this monitor a month ago. run 60hz on 4 laptops i have, and no driver available for mac. the resolution rate is low too

Has lots of ghosting.. A lot. Very visible . Got one couple of weeks back, returning. 2K is sharp though but the ghosting got too much

27 inches for FHD (1080p) could be a bit too much pixel thing....I would suggest 24 inches 1080p or 27 inches 1440p.

Just do a two-monitors setup, one cheap 1080p for gaming, and spend more on a 4K on anything else.
So the key is 1. PC has capable graphic card 2. right adopter/cable to carry data to monitor.
