Nominally 12"x12"x2". Actual size is less than that. I got some from Lowes and the size is 11.7"x11.7"x1.95". It is not 1.7".

Good information that HD is thicker. Strangely Lowe's website says it's 1.7" thicker while HD says 1.57". //@Anonymous: It is a great deal at $1. At original $1.48, it is better to buy from HD. I used both, and HD type is thicker and heavier, so could last longer.
