It’s true if people has a workshop, big or small.
Most people store it in garage and take it out for a few cuts using an extension cord. So battery is still a good option. //@anonymous: this doesn't need to be on battery, as its going to be stationary

Hope ryobi has a 40volt battery version.
If lawn mower can run on 40 volt why not miter saw.
