I still use the first gen of Arlo. what pro 2 bothers me is that rechargeable batery is used, and battery life is not long enough compared with first gen

This is a very decent starter kit for arlo ecosystem. You do not really need a video doorbell if you plan to place an arlo camera at your front door anyway.
