It is not that quick charging is bad. You can quick charge for a few mins, and then stop charging. Charging the battery to 100% every time is bad (regardless of quick charge or slow charge). Keep it between 20-80% range. That's what battery management system in electric vehicles do to prolong the life of the battery. So don't keep the phone plugged in the whole night while you sleep. This brick does not fast charge Iphones since it has USB A. You need a charger with USB C and a USB C to Lightning to fast charge Iphones. Quite depressing.
