Hong Kong only has one airport HKG. Reason for credit card check due late purchase of ticket and possibility of fraudulent transaction so they will need to confirm your credit card that you used for purchase. Rules don't make it the worst, have you flew Air India? //@anonymous: Worst airline. transferred in the same city, but different airports. When you check in, you have to provide the original credit card.
