10-Piece Shun Classic Chef's Knife Set

I have a shun set. Some of the best knives I own but also extremely delicate - they chip and break at the slightest mishandling of the blade, so beware.

These are great knives with hard steel and an amazing finish better than almost any home chef knife. I have one and would buy this set now if I was in the market for a full set. A 50$ set of knives will cut food, but will dull fast and never have a good balance or feel. These are worlds above most knives and few, if any could rival this price to quality mark. //@Anonymous: What's the difference between this set and a $50 set?
