The 18v would be better, but this will work too. I have this one and have used it on big bolts in wood before without a problem. //@Anonymous: Are these good to drive deck screws ?

Impact guns are best for driving decking screws, not sure how robust this adapter is but I have the stand alone impact driver version and it's amazing. //@anonymous: Are these good to drive deck screws ?
