It is a great deal at $30. //@Anonymous: membrane, allow water to evaporator out, but does not allow water to leak in. typical material are "gore-tex", "e-vent". you will need it for ski or bicycling or hiking. it makes a huge difference! but not Columbia. that's why Acteryx and NorthFace are expensive, Columbia is cheap. //@anonymous: How can it be waterproof and still be breathable?
