You can just register your non-academic email address in the link for registering student deal. Just pick a university. Best buy doesn't care and doesn't verify your status. Then your email will receive a bar code. With many in consideration, dont buy anything yet.. new AMD Ryzen is out.. but if you are desperate go ahead. Quite good price for macbook air.
