If you buy TV paid by Costco Citi Visa, you will get total 4 years warranty without extra pay. Also the Visa card no annual fee. Sometimes it comes with promotions like extra $60 off if buy four tires or extra 15% cashback for Samsung TV at Costco

so.. if you buy a TV w/1yr warranty.. Costco will extend it by 1 more year.. and citi card will extend it for 2 more years, totaling 4 years of warranty?

Amex updated their extended warranty to cover two years beyond manufacturer's. You can google it and read their current documentation. //@anonymous: No. Its 1 year additional warranty. Here Citi/costcoo will give 2years additional //@Anonymous: If the original manufacturer's warranty is longer than 1 year,then amex is still my go to option. Also 2 years extension and better claim experience.
