Is it an unlocked phone? //@Anonymous: Not true. I bought this phone during last Thanksgiving. Activated the service and then cancelled within 1 day. They only charge me $1 or something like that. //@anonymous: You need to activate Fi on this. You can cancel 1 day after activation.
So the price is essentially $99 + $20 (Fi for 1st month)

Not true. Google supports update for at least 2 years after release. G6 was released in April 2018, so you will have at least 1 new OS update after Android Q. //@Anonymous: why? //@Anonymous: very decent phone at $99...but be aware that you may not get future Android updates.

Need to activate service. Not deal unless you are current FI user.
