Microsoft's trick works on him. They gave me a ton of free OneDrive storage a few years ago, and I dumped a tons of pictures on it. Then all of a sudden all the free storage was gone, and I was forced to buy the Office365 to get the 1T cloud space.

Only idiots would subscribe to MS Office. This type of software is not for subscription, it is for purchase and use for as long as you want it. What a scam.

Another option is Google Doc, it doesn't require any installation. //@Anonymous: Agree 100%, open office is free and does the job //@Anonymous: Subscription is dangerous like a cable TV. Once you are addicted, you will have to pay for high subscription fees. Vs MS Office, I highly recommend those free Offices, such as LibreOffice, Apache OpenOffice, or FreeOffice. All those are free. Unless your business pay for you, try to avoid those subscription deals even first year or month is free.
