Don’t buy I meant //@anonymous: Done buy this car, it doesn’t have power. Test drive and put it on HV mode and give it some gas . You’d know what I’m talking about. I own this car and I’m stuck because I got a credit . Paid 34500 + tax last year and don’t even want to think about it now. Honda innovation sucks..

Just make that you claim lots of dependence. You'll owe more liability at the end of the year. //@anonymous: Yes your refund doesn't matter, it's the total tax liability for the year, must be at least $7500. //@Anonymous: I would guess/hope it means your total tax liability for the year needs to be over 7500, not whether you owe or get refund when you file your taxes //@anonymous: That means if IRS owes me money, I won't get a dime of that $7500? //@Anonymous: Keep in mind you will first pay full tax on $28400 if they honor that price and you will get $7500 tax break only if you owe that amount, they will not write you a check for the difference.

that is true only for california rebate and not federal rebate. federal rebate does not place any income limitation //@Anonymous: There is an income gap for the tax credit. $150,000 for single filers, $204,000 for head–of–household filers, $300,000 for joint filers. Bay area engineers, double check before you buy the EV. You may not eligible for the tax credit.

Tesla owners are probably most delusional people. last time when I drove to Tahoe on a snowy day. Quite a few Tesla cars stuck in the snow. I guess they think driving a Tesla won't need a snow chain.

SF bay area, just called the dealer, it give me 31K, I asked about the 6k factory rebate, they said yes, but they say they sell it on the market price, 31K is the market price.

California dealers gave me $3k lower thank the sticker price. Not $6k. I only checked the San Diego dealers though. //@Anonymous: The dealer in TX said "he $6000 factory rebate is only for California and Oregon states".

I have the car for over 8 months and I like it a lot. It is similar to the Volt but has more space. It has about 50 miles range on electric only depending on the temperature. If you have the ability to charge for free or cheap, you can save a lot of money on gas. I paid more than this deal.
