There is no comparison in your “fact” failure rate. If you compare it with catastrophic incidents with other commercial jets, it’s now the second deadliest due to the infancy of this new model. I'd definitely be nervous now when flying Southwest. Don't understand why the US hasn't grounded this plane like many other countries yet.
