I am interested not paying for monitoring every month, does ring or simplisafe uses WiFi and send me notifications instead of me paying monthly fee?

If you are considering to buy security system then consider Ring instead of Simplisafe ($24.99 / month) as they provide similar monitoring services with Ring being much cheaper ($8.5/month) . Only differences are : 1) Simplisafe uses Verizon as cellular backup while Ring uses AT&T, and 2) The sensor sizes are smaller is Simplisafe as they use CR series lithium batteries.

Maybe it is your internet. It works like a charm for me. My dog walk pass the sensor and Ring called me within the 30 seconds that I had set the alert for. //@Anonymous: Ring security is very unreliable
