I tend to disagree. I do own a macbook pro so it's my legal right to keep a softcopy of every version of macos, which I then use for personal research purpose (researching the possibility of installing macos on a non-apple pc) instead of business use.

It is very slow and the design makes changing the harddrive to SSD extremely difficult if even possible.
