It's just a heating wire, a fan, a timer, and a temperature control module, probably $6 cost in total if made in Vietnam. No much high tech involved at all and pretty much any appliance manufacture could make it.

You could manufacture one by yourself. Otherwise, you have to pay for the extra value. That explains why apple could construct such a gorgeous new center.
