Most of MVNOs, prepaid and no contract plans have speed throttle. Currently with cricket for $30 with 2G data and its AT&T coverage. Google Nexus was released in 2010. Of course they'll stop support for it. How's your iPhone 4 updates coming along?... //@anonymous: Like every other Google initiative - it will be abandoned after some time. Remember Google Nexus phones for which they wouldn't provide any support ? Or Google+ ? They are just using it to gather data, in which case - they should be paying me.

Currently most people have google map on your phone, lots of people has android phone, now people start to use google fi, all your privacy goes to goole then, not good.
