When you're the number one smartphone maker in the world for so many years in a row, it is not surprising that second-tier failure companies like hua wei will spend effort to smear you. But it is sad to see it!

I went to change the battery for my iphone 6s Plus last last weekend. When I did battery test 10 month ago, it shows 86%, when I change the battery, it shows 91%, how come?

After they changed the battery, wifi and bluetooth stopped working. I wasted one more hour there and they also ordered me another replacement phone. The new one looks perfect even my old phone was kept in very good condition too, it is used for 3 years anyway. They only gave me one phone and I gave my own phone to them, plus there are no other accessories in that box. I also checked the IMEI of the new phone, it is unlocked, manufactured on the end of September 2018, when I got it, it is only 3 weeks old. But this one does not come with warranty as the other brand new phones.

Nothing to be proud of. Shame on yourself. //@Anonymous: Spent $29 for a battery change of my iPhone 5S, and then called Apple Advisor to complain about some nondetectable issues which I claimed were caused due to the battery change. Apple had me shipped my phone back and then replaced with an iPhone 7.

By anonymous on 10/23/2018, 10:25 PM EDT
lol, they need to make more of you lots, best peons ever. //@Anonymous: apple is the only smartphone company that really cares about its customers! this is one reason there are so many loyal iphone users //@anonymous: I'm glad Apple has such good customer service that they're doing this and making it so easy. I can't imagine being stuck with a phone from another vendor.

Replace battery is joke, no use, my phone is 6 plus and it is not really helping, the battery is still bad!

I replaced mine both in 7 plus and 6 s plus. Both phone had 86% battery health, but was afraid after 2 year of use, it can drop any day. Price came out around 31 plus for each phone. I plan to keep these phones at least 2 more years.

By anonymous on 10/23/2018, 05:51 PM EDT
Yes //@anonymous: Serious question. Was there an issue with iPhone X battery? My warranty will be expiring next week but I haven't noticed any lack of battery performance. Battery health is at 96% after almost full year of usage. Should I get it replaced even though it seems to be just fine?

Well if you don't have a mortgage you clearly have no clue how to spend money wisely. Combine this fact with your iphone purchase. //@Anonymous: You have a mortgage? You mean you couldn't afford to buy your house with cash? Not surprising that you also don't own an iPhone. //@Anonymous: Why are people still stuck in this Apply mentality?? And when others say other phones are better, all they say is, "You are poor, you can't afford it." You have a phone that is $1000. I have a mortgage on a house in the Bay Area. So what?

Essentially used, not even refurbished. //@Anonymous: They give you refurbished, not new. //@anonymous: I went to get battery replaced for SE since phone was 2 years old already and apple broke my battery connectors, so gave me a new phone (which I believe might be apple refurbished one)

All set for couple more years :-P

I do not believe you. you must be bragging. //@Anonymous: Just replaced mine at apple store last week. Took one hour, easy. My iphone 6s with ios 12.01 can last 4 days again for $30

By anonymous on 10/23/2018, 01:41 PM EDT
I use "terrible". I regret I had replaced battery in Iphone 7. I gave up and bought a Moto Z2. I will never go back apple for very disappointing battery, processor (slowed down in old model), memory and battery. //@Anonymous: The quality of replace battery is so disappointed. It is almost died after half year.

only fools buy apple. there are 100s of other phones at 1/3rd the price of apple that performs better. but some people like to show off and wont ever agree to the truth that a $500 samsung has a better camera than a $1200 iphone. :)

So dumb //@anonymous: Maybe you went to the Hua.Wei store by mistake? //@Anonymous: Watch out. Could be a trap to u. They disabled the fingerprint reader and returned it to me without battery change. I am deapplizing my home

By anonymous on 10/23/2018, 01:19 PM EDT
Be aware that if you replaced a screen at a non-authorized place then the phone automatically looses its warranty and is not eligible for battery replacement. I tried it...

By anonymous on 10/23/2018, 12:37 PM EDT
It says "All other eligible models" $79 //@Anonymous: How about iPhone5?

check your local bestbuy - is probably an authorized location for battery replacement
