Bought these on a whim from Costco and returned them after trying the WH-1000XM2. They are a bit better IMO, more comfortable for long periods of time, better NC, and fold down super small for their size. Plus they come with a case which these don’t - you get a little faux-velvet bag with these. WH-1000XM2 are more expensive and have the risk of the dreaded headband cracking (Sony warranty doesn’t cover). //@anonymous: I own Sony WH-1000XM2 and Bose QC 35. Sony is better in noise cancellation and sound quality.

WH-H900N is the low-end one. MDR1000 beats QC35. //@Anonymous: Do you really have them both? Sony is clearly the Winner on Noise Cancelling! //@Anonymous: The best way to think about this is. Bose Q35 have the best in class comfort and noise cancelling. Nothing beats it. These Sonys will have 70-80% of the NC, but the sound is better. Overall sound has more life, has bass to it, and overall more enjoyable to listen. I have the Sonys and the battery life, comfort, and durability are all stellar. So it's a personal choice on what you value. For me, the Sonys are worth it for half the price. I've worn it on the bus, plane, trains, and don't have any complaints.

Cannot agree at all. Samsung could be explosive. You r implying that ur head gonna take such risk? //@anonymous: Bose is the best, Bose vs Sony = Apple vs Samsung

I have both QC35 and 1000xm2. It seems to me 1000xm2 is better at NC, but can only connect to one device at one time. It is a little inconvenient to switch between devices. QC35 is more comfortable for my big head

Depends on your head. I’ve had no comfort issues. I understand some have. //@anonymous: Bose is good for wearing whole day, and these? //@Anonymous: Or read the reviews and go with these. //@anonymous: Get the Bose
