Nowadays I won't waste money on cheap electronics like a $300 laptop, $250 smartphone, $100 watch.
They don't make sense anymore.
There products are lasting much longer than ever.
- A laptap won't go too clunky at least for 5-6 years.
- A smartphone can go strong for at least 3-4 years.
- Smart watch is still fast evolving. So let us give it 2 years.
The amortized cost is so small, given the depreciating of $$ (a meal cost almost doubles in the last 8 years), and longer device active use time.
Don't waste your life on cheap electronics...
