wrong. Bought a rebel 4 years ago, refurbished. Still working fine. //@Anonymous: Don’t go for canon refurb. Most of the cases these are malfunctioning within few days.warranty sends with our own shipping cost to check and fix the issue. No good experience with Canon refurb especially lenses. Hope this helps avoiding all this hassles.

Canon refurb is fine. I've bought a few things, lens and camera, and have never had issues. //@Anonymous: I am not sure if that is a typical experience. I bought a ton of stuff from them, bodies, lenses and flashes. Everything turned out great. Looked good and very new. One time when I felt there were scratches on lens body they replaced for free with out charging shipping. They come with the same standard one year warranty just like a regular product. //@anonymous: Don’t go for canon refurb. Most of the cases these are malfunctioning within few days.warranty sends with our own shipping cost to check and fix the issue. No good experience with Canon refurb especially lenses. Hope this helps avoiding all this hassles.
