Just got prius prime after long consideration between Volt and Prius Prime. One major difference is Lumbar support, which Volt doesn't have and the seat is awful. //@Anonymous: Chevy Volt is far superior, can go twice as far on electric power. Also eligible for a $7500 federal tax credit.

Volt is a 5 seater but effectively a 4 seater since the batteries form a hump in the middle of the back floor. //@anonymous: Problem is, prime is a 4 seater. They'll change this in later model years.

they still haven't announced 2018 model yet. Still selling 2017 here in CA and one dealer doesn't want to sell below MSRP. I told him he is crazy and walk away.

Volt has more power too therefore it's more fun to drive. //@anonymous: Subjective, but, imo, looks a good deal better, as well.. Still, hoping I can afford a sufficiently equipped Tesla III, but I'm beginning to doubt that will be the case when it comes down to it. //@Anonymous: Chevy Volt is far superior, can go twice as far on electric power.
