But then the Promo code discount of buy one get one goes away it tries to charge me for both tickets. Now what do I do. Promo code has not dies as of now for sure as it shows it applied but does not work with Fandango Gift card.

make sure it will not charge you the full amount on the gift card! There is no way to find out before completing the order.

Once I apply the promotion code, it does not allow to input credit card information, can only use AMC or Fangago GC.
