I owed it and used it once. Donated it to Saint Vincent de Paul, but it did not go through because I had filled out two paper forms. One was for electronic device and the other was FDA regulation. It went straight to the dumpster.

Don't know why people still buying this expensive unhealthy rice cooker. Buy Instant Pot Duo mini instead.

3 cups uncooked is 6 cups cooked; sufficient for a small family.
The best cooker size is the one closest to what you will mostly use it for. If you make 2-3 cups in a 6- or 10-cup cooker, they will not turn out as good as they would in a 3-cup cooker. //@Anonymous: 3 cups? Really a joke.

Good price and good quality. But keep one thing in mind - the model is discontinued and the internal pot costs a lot more for discontinued models (sometimes as much as a Zojirushi rice cooker itself). And the life of the internal pot is about 3 years before it starts warping.

Now Midea is much better, unfortunately they do not sell in US.
Zojirushi is still standing at the same place as 10 years ago. No renovation anymore. //@anonymous: I have one of these. Only thing I was impressed was the price. It does same thing as cheaper counterparts. ????

just buy an instant pot. It's cheaper and it cooks good rice also, plus many other functions.
