you don't need HDMI (too slow, not able provide HD gaming), All you need Disply Port not HDMI //@Anonymous: 2412 does not have HDMI port. I think that's the only difference... //@Anonymous: The U2412m from staples.com might be a better choice. The $25 off $100 visa checkout is still effective today. It would be $150-$25=$125+tax to get a U2412m from Staples.com with a 1900x1200 screen.

pls find another monitor which can beat U2414/U2412 w/ a better quality & performance and a lower price. TFT central has a lot of reviews.
