Roomba is the first that introduced SLAM technology. Roomba is the best.

Neato, Irobot or Proscenic. All are good. Not sumsang.

Had a cheap roomba that bounces. But returned it and got a more expensive smart one. Read the specifications before buy~ I suggest Roomba //@Anonymous: roomba is the one that run randomly. Samsung has smart mapping. //@Anonymous: The most import thing about a robot vacuum is the mapping/locate methods.
type 1: smart mapping which can automatically locate the vacuum and calculate the mapping path. Those are pricy but good products. type 2: have no brains and bounce back and forth when mapping. Those are not real robot and you can buy it for less than $300. Robot vacuums arent same. Buy ROOMBA!

come on! The samsung powerbot 7 serious didn't exist yet last thanksgiving. //@Anonymous: I got this one in last thanksgiving and returned it in one week. Even it was my first robot vacuum, I could still find it didn't worth the money. There is a reason why it's so discounted. Buy Ecovacs, you won't regret.

Samsung is the King. It's powerful enough to make anything. //@anonymous: samsung makes better robot vacuum than most of the other companies. I own one. My third robot vacuum, the best one.

to the one below: you are really nice a person. But googling it could just take 10 seconds why typing this sentence already took me 15 seconds. //@Anonymous: Ignore the other 'anonymous' m..ron who asked you to google it. Here's the answer: This vacuum is an automatic one. you can set it to run automatically (even when you are not home). It will roll through your home's floor(s) and suck up the dirt. works both on wood and carpet. many of the vacuums can go back to the charging station and charge themselves. You would have to periodically empty the bin (of the vacuum) manually, though. Hope this helps. //@Pin96: How to use it?
