I bought Honor 8 last year. It had 4 or 5 major updates since my purchase. //@Anonymous: Have been using 3 phones from Huawei for several years, switched from iPhone to Note, then to Mate. Each Huawei phone used is at the same level or a little bit better than those from Samsung and Apple in terms of hardware, however, the EMUI system is not very desirable, and you will expect no or minimum updates (the biggest off). Well, the price is much (say 30% less) lower. Overall, it is a very good or slight better alternative.

Huawei is no iPhone for sure but is a good cost effective choice. Mine is 3 years old and the battery still lasts two full days, which is quite impressive. //@anonymous: So many f@ke comments here and on Amazon. Shame on Huawei!

Switched from apple to huawei. This is a great phone. You know if you use it.
It has default smart device connection, nfc, motion sensor and lots other functions. Metal body is very pretty too. I really like it. I have been using apple for 8 years. Should have tried android earlier.
