slow CPU, small amount of memory, no battery size specs, not HD. May work for some but by no means a great laptop.

CPU is 10th gen. would work for 95% of the crowd. would even work for average gamers //@anonymous: slow CPU, small amount of memory, no battery size specs, not HD. May work for some but by no means a great laptop.

I bought one last BF for the same price and it works great. The fan is a kind of noisy but changing the power mode to the lowest setting will help. It's a good deal.

It's $279.someone expects it to be great? //@anonymous: CPU is 10th gen. would work for 95% of the crowd. would even work for average gamers //@anonymous: slow CPU, small amount of memory, no battery size specs, not HD. May work for some but by no means a great laptop.

:) Not like a 20 year old PC. It's low end, but it should be AOK for basic modern productivity apps and web browsing.
I go with i7s, latest generations (H series, with discrete graphics) because I expect to get a few years out of my machines. But an 10th gen i3 wouldn't be a problem for those who prefer to replace their laptops every 2 years or so. //@Anonymous: It locked on 0.19Ghz all the time...like 20 years old PC

Hi there, is this a good gaming laptop for my younger boy? he wants to play Minecraft on a computer.

You can easily find same spec for less. //@Anonymous: Hi there, is this a good gaming laptop for my younger boy? he wants to play Minecraft on a computer.

I'd say this is a bit overkill for just Mindcraft. If you are pretty sure he will only play Mindcraft - you don't really need an enhanced graphics, and can save tons of money by buying laptop with same specs but with on-board graphic chipset //@Anonymous: Hi there, is this a good gaming laptop for my younger boy? he wants to play Minecraft on a computer.

Not enough RAM for $899, should have 12 or 16GB for that price.
