I had a very bad experience with AT&T about their trade-in promotions. They set the value of my almost-new iPhone 8 as $13.5. To get the full trade-in credit of $800, I had to talk with several representatives (but did not work), and finally had to report the problem to BBB. I read about a lot of similar cases on the web

Luckily, I could get the full credit through BBB & AT&T's president office. But,I strongly recommend you to video record your old phone (--AT&T said my phone did not turn on -- LIE) while you are packing (as a proof) to prevent any hassle that I have experienced.

Good luck!

yes, AT&T has the award of worst customer satisfaction in US. Sometime back, a rep knocked my door and said unlimited internet 40$ per month and 100$ gift card. When I switched to AT&T, I got a bill of 90$ on the third day. After a month I got again 89$ odd bill, didn't get gift card. When I called call center, they said they don't have a proof that sales person gave you that options and they can't offer it either. I returned the equipment and cancelled the service. They have very shady customer service..only reputation they have is they are very old company and deep roots in the country..otherwise, dealing with T-Mobile is way better than AT&T //@Anonymous: I had a very bad experience with AT&T about their trade-in promotions. There is no such reward. You fell for a scam from a 3rd party salesman. They act like they work for the company but are independent. Then they say you will get discounts but really all you do is sign a regular contract and they get credit. I’ve seen some with photocopied “badges”. There are laws and regulations for major companies promising discounts and cannot force you into a contact. Work directly with authorized dealers/representatives and get everything in writing. //@anonymous: yes, AT&T has the award of worst customer satisfaction in US. when you again locked-in for another 24-30 months trade-in contract, you will absolutely miss the next big iphone 14 update with completely new model. This year ip13 was just extension of iphon 12 prototype sale for another year. think twice when jumpin.

Follow the webpage instruction when activating the card, and key in ur existing Tracfone phone number as the number to be ported to the new card being activated. After activation the new sim card will now carrying your ported over phone number, along with all your existing credit added to the new card, including the existing validity period also ported and extended accordingly. Existing sim card will no longer have a valid phone number after that. This is my 3rd year extending the yearly prepaid contract this way. //@Anonymous: I’m new to this. How do you do that? Not worth it, that minutes/text/data is for 1 year. It will cost you about $100 for that next year. You can buy the same minutes/text/data for 1 month from redpocket for about $10.

I've used it for a few years, thinking to switch.
Pros: cheap
Cons: not much data; cannot tethering (no hotspot allowed, at least for certain phones)

Question. I am new to this service. Is this like regular SIM card + plan. All I need to do is activate it as T-mobile prepaid. Am I correct? //@Anonymous: I've used it for a few years, thinking to switch.

Could you please explain how to recharge my existing number (which has a Verizon Tracfone sim) using the new sim card that was purchased? I am completing my first year next month (Aug 2020). Thanks a lot //@Anonymous: Follow the webpage instruction when activating the card, and key in ur existing Tracfone phone number as the number to be ported to the new card being activated. Do you need to call the customer service to combine these two cards together? //@anonymous: if you are new, you can activate one for a year, activate 2nd one next day and it will add another year from the first ending date, so will give you two years. //@Anonymous: What happen after one year, can I reload the card to continue use? Thanks!

This is total scam. After I received the SIM, called Tracfone, and then found out there is no 1 year plan included. There is no service code included in the package to add a 1 year plan. For this price to just buy a SIM card? That is ridiculous! Hard to believe Ebay still allows this seller to sell while so many customers like me experienced the same issue. You can see the negative reviews lately on this seller!

The $5 discount doesn't stack when ordering multiple of 50s. I had to please three separate orders of $50 each.
