If you’re shopping online for the new Nintendo Switch, you’ll want to look for the model numbers that start with HAD: HADSKABAA for the model with the blue and red Joy-Con controllers, HADSKAAAA for the model with grey Joy-Con controllers. Older Nintendo Switch models start with the letters HAC.

Alternatively, the updated Switch with the better battery may go by the model number HAC-001(-01). The original Switch model number is simply HAC-001.

Their products rarely drop in price because being innovative is expensive. Not to mention companies sell their products based on what the market will pay. Blame consumers like you and me for Nintendos high prices. They're still high because they know we'll still pay it. They're right.
