Will these M1 computers be able to run all the MAC applications?

Guys, if your goal is to run video editing software, M1 Mac is great. Otherwise, emulating x86 games and other demanding tasks are still inferior to Intel processors. Also if you are an x86 developer or coder, you are basically toasted. the M1 Mac is not able to run VirtualBox at the moment.

yes. but some of the apps may have to be executed in emulated environment, which means lower speed and higher power consumption. //@Anonymous: Will these M1 computers be able to run all the MAC applications?

Tech reviews already determined that the emulated software on M1 is still faster than running natively on Intel. //@anonymous: yes. but some of the apps may have to be executed in emulated environment, which means lower speed and higher power consumption. //@Anonymous: Will these M1 computers be able to run all the MAC applications?

This generation is definitely worth buying. Only concern is that M1 has not been validated by time.

You can use Windows or Linux on non-M1's. Last of a breed.

Ever since M1 was out, if you are shopping for a new laptop, the only reason you don't go with M1 MacBooks is you can't live without Windows.

There's another reason. Can't live without screen size less than 15". So waiting for MacBook pro 16 eagerly. //@anonymous: Ever since M1 was out, if you are shopping for a new laptop, the only reason you don't go with M1 MacBooks is you can't live without Windows.

I’ve been using this meat slicer for several years(5+). 5 to 10 times each year for hot pot. So far so good. If the blade gets blunt one day, I will buy the same product.
